As much as I hate celebrity blogging and gossip, sometimes there are a few things that baffle me when it comes to the popularity of some of them..like why are they celebrities? What is to celebrate about them? For the record, most these people on my list, I personally love them to death and I don’t even know why.
7. Madam Akua Donkor
This woman is absolutely hilarious. Just looking at her picture right now makes me laugh my butt off! The problem here is, she is not a comedian. I wish she was though because that will be good enough reason for her popularity. She is a politician who has no formal education- I mean the illiterate kind. As in, she cannot read and write. Can you believe that? But she does not let what she does not know stop her from reaching what she knows- that is being the President of Ghana. WOW. She does not want to be a minister oo- a president. I find her funny not because of her dreams because I actually admire her for that; I find her funny because she is so funny when she speaks. So I guess she’s got talent to make people laugh after all. The funniest about this fact is, she does not see that.
6. David Oscar
Okay, this guy actually tried to make Ghana laugh but no matter how hard he tried, Ghanaians thought he was not funny. He did not understand when Ghanaians did not laugh because actually, he and his friends cracked up to his jokes all the time. He tried shows after shows…stunts after stunts but still, Ghanaians thought that our Big Boss, David Oscar is not funny. He ended up having the opportunity to judge other comedians on a show; that was when I saw him vent all his anger and frustration on them for Ghanaians’ inability to laugh at his jokes. That show was hilarious to see him judge people so harshly. I laughed watching that show though so Ghanaians that was not fair, he actually has a judging talent that cracks people up.
Sincerely speaking, I don’t think she is a celebrity. Others seem to think so that is why she is even on my list in the first place. All she is good at is exposing her breasts and buttocks on social media. I guess that’s where her fame comes from but seriously, though…MADAM, what is your talent? Taking semi-nude pictures I couldn’t even post on here?
Okay, I love seeing this one. She is so beautiful and……beautiful. I love to see her on anything because she is talentedly….beautiful. Okay, the first thing I heard about this girl was a song she released about one Uncle Obama whom I don’t even know if she was referring to the President or not. I did not know if the song was a rap…or she was just talking. I was just listening and watching the good camera quality of the clip. I laughed though because what she was saying was hilarious. “Uncle Obama I like the size of your banana.” The question that followed killed me!”Can I give it to my monkey? It will be so very happy!” Really?! Sister Derbie, you are a comedian. Try that!
Yeyeey! This madam right here cracks the hell out of me. I guess she thinks of herself as lady gaga. I can’t even remember a single song she came out with. All I remember about her was that I saw a girl wearing strange clothes lying on a chair and throwing her legs in the air. I just couldn’t get myself to hear any song from her. I loved those clothes, though. For what’s worth, I think she is a celebrity because of those clothes. Big ups to your designer!
2.Nicholas Omane Acheampong
Oh bra nie! I heard this man on the radio some time ago, complaining that he was not given an award for his music. His hit single I can never forget was, ‘Edin no yeho’ I never thought gospel music can be this scarily dramatic. The music and instrumentals were so weird, his costumes were always scary and overly dramatic. I sat there watching this video clip and for a moment I thought I was watching Saw IV. It was scary and the music was so confusing. In fact, the title of the song and his whole art of singing is weird and scary. He made waves because of how weird his song and whole art was and that made him stand out. I salute you boss for standing out in a very very…weird way!
This lady right here has taken my number spot because she seems to be the most talked about celebrity lately since her political controversies with the NPP. I sometimes wonder what spell she has placed on her fans who watch her perform live on stage. Have you heard her sing live? OMG. She wouldn’t pass to be in my church choir to even sing in the background. Even in her recorded songs, with all the enhancements she still sounds ordinary. Sometimes I wonder if she is singing or talking. But I love her for being very outspoken lately despite how emotional she is. Whatever she is doing, she should keep doing it because when it comes to her talent as a musician, it is totally ‘marvelous’. You can’t watch her live without opening your mouth, I tell you! And I am not even talking about how seductively she dresses sometimes on stage. Quick question, though, “Is she a rapper or a singer?”
