For a lot of Christians especially in Africa, they’d see this as a lie or just ‘me’ being controversial. I saw a video on the internet which I have posted here which is great proof that 97% of Christians are confused. The definition of Christianity now is just going with the flow that feels Christian-like and right and not really what the Bible says. Below is proof of how 97% of Christians are confused.
1.Internet Christian Blackmail
This is one thing I find funny and also annoying at the same time; I get absolutely infuriated when a ‘Christian’ brother or sister sends me a message with a picture of Jesus asking me to share or type Amen to prove my love for Jesus or to express my hate for Satan. If you ask me, these things are rubbish! Absolute nonsense! Which part of the bible says that is what we should do to prove our love or to be saved? The funny thing is, many of these Christians that are consistently typing away and sharing these are doing this out of guilt because they are probably having sex every night with someone they are not married to or involved in some kind of sin, hoping that sharing that picture is fulfillment of God’s word. That is nonsense!
The worst part of this blackmail is the ones that reign curses on you for not sharing. Can you believe that? Apparently 97% of Christians believe it and share these. Over 97% of Christians have at one point partaken in this Christian blackmail.
2.Saying Amen to everything!
This just shows how many Christians are Christians because they want another person to do the thinking for them. Just walk into a typical service and you will be shocked at the kind of things some Christians say Amen to without actually listening whether they should say Amen or not. Amen actually means “let it be”. So in the middle of a sermon where a pastor is making an incomplete sentence and says, “…So the little girl just like my daughter was raped….” You could find someone scream a Big Amen because of the tone with which the pastor said it. So in fact, some Christians say Amen to tones and not the actual words.
This is very common in Africa. People go to church and treat God as if he is this money making machine or a voodoo priest that will provide them with the car, house or millions of dollars they want simply because they are there and they ask for it. They completely forget the actual truth about being saved; the real purpose of it but they treat God like they’d treat a voodoo priest or some god. Ask for your wishes, when it comes through, appease him with a sacrifice. It gets worse when Pastors and leaders of churches plant these ideas in the minds of Church folks. These church folks recruit other Christians saying that same lie, “Come to God and he will give you money” I have heard with my own ears before going out to preach the gospel with a Christian Brother and sister. I stood in disbelief! This is not to say that God can’t provide because he has done it time and time again but that is not the purpose of Christianity. That is not why we serve God?!

I just think in conclusion, there are Christian zombies that just follow what feels Christian-like and right and not what Jesus actually says. There are Christians that follow just what the pastor says without actually finding out for themselves if it is God’s truth or not.
