Okay, so I uploaded this video on my facebook page less than a week ago. This is not the first time I am talking about Human trafficking. You can check it out by clicking here. In that post, you will realise that people are trafficked into many other nations to act pornographic movies. Men also fall victim of this, as a man called Sunday Bekunde shared his story.
The first woman in this video is a graduate; Sunday Bekunde is also a student. Others were gainfully employed but ended up in this situation.
Do not trust ‘connection men’ as they are AFFECTIONATELY called in Ghana and Nigeria. If you are not travelling the right way, then you are probably not going to live the right way abroad. So please if you weave rasta in Ghana, weave it harder till you get money to travel, I beg.
The graduates, I understand how tough it is to get a job in many parts of Africa but there is ALWAYS something to do. Think outside the box, sitting in someone’s office and building someone else’s dream is not the AFRICAN DREAM. While you search for the right job, you can try to build your own. Build your own dream…build something for yourself so that you can also hire people to help build yours.
You are only 23 years old or 28 years old and you are already looking to settle for a life of a 50years old man. Biko!
This is not the time to settle for someone’s dream. While you search, take risks, build the business you want to build, sing the song you want to sing, write the book you want to write, invest in your dream. This is the time of your life that you can afford to dream..
Now, social media has become such a powerful tool to do anything. If you have a talent, don’t be afraid to put it on display. If people love it, that is your break through!
Your dream is not in a place…your dream is not in someone…YOUR dream is in YOU. Be it!
