A global slogan we all hear,
“Embrace what comes naturally to you”,
“Because that is the real you”
I have compassion for the deprived and poor,
I cant take my fingers off my keypad
Even if it is sore
I am dating gadgets at the moment; oh darling ipad
I adore a beautiful scenery and harmony
The harmony from my vocal chords is my favorite
And I promise, I am no phony.
These are things that come naturally to me,
They make me happy and bruises not a knee,
I embrace it with my arms so wide
And in the fullness of my mind.
I am human,
A young African MAN,
With blood though hot,
Is quenched at the sight of great beauty.
Power is ignited at the TOUCH of the hands I adore,
Ofcourse! The power needs a transfer from my core
My blood boils with rage,
When a mouth dumps toxic waste,
My fists are definitely good outlets to this waste,
And I easily throw a punch in haste.
These are but a few things that come naturally to me,
They give pleasure and excitement to the carnal flesh,
But they can DESTROY
If I let my carnality dominate my flesh,
It will definitely bruise more than a knee.
I control what comes naturally to me,
‘The good’ and ‘the bad’,
‘The necessary’ and ‘the unnecessary’
‘The Safe’ and ‘the dangerous’
Don’t blame me if I don’t choose nature.
Beyond being an African man,
I am human,
So I make choices,
I therefore ask you today,
“What comes naturally to you?”
